My cousin thinks she's ugly? How come she keeps fighting my compliments?

I always tell my cousin she is beautiful. She is. we are like sisters, but we also fight like sisters. We get in big fights when we compliment eachother. It's weird I know. How do I get her to stop insulting herself?
