...an external hard drive? My computer runs very slowly ever since I started downloading torrents to external hard drive?
My computer starts up very slowly ever since I started downloading torrents to an external hard drive and I was wondering if there was a way to fix that. When I unhooked the external hard drive from the usb port and started my computer it loaded normally. I have 2 USB ports and I've tried both and it takes forever for the computer to load if the external hard drive is hooked up. Any solutions? thanx
I tried plugging it in after the computer starts and it just froze up my computer
 
Delete the torrents, they have viruses. And maybe get a new extrenal hard drive because if your computer gets messed up with a virus that your anti-virus can't fixed. It's pretty much dead.
 
Sounds like your bit rate is slower coming through the USB ports. Can you wait to plug in after your computer starts? Would it work the same that way with a faster start?
