I'm having some serious issues with my Sony computer - they've asked me to reset it to factory settings (again - the second time in mere months). I have an external hard drive that I bought to store my info on for such occasions.
Problem is.
My computer is picking it up.
It doesn't show it's connected.
And it doesn't show it on my roomie's computer either.
I don't have CDs to back it up on, or flashdrives because I have this Verbatim harddrive
Did I buy a defective hard drive as well as a horrible computer?
Or am I doing something wrong?
What do I DOOOO?!
