My Computer just shut down while playing a game... wont turn back on, but

shows life on the motherboard? The other day I was playing some online multi-player game when my brand new computer (6 months old) just shut down all of the sudden. What's worse is that I smell a burning smell by the a/c plug on the cpu. When I go to turn it back on, the mother-board light lights up, but when I press the power button on the front... just a flash of the fan and light activity and then nothing but the motherboard light again...

I'm hoping that I just burnt out my powersupply, but this cpu was a custom built that I ordered and they told me that they built it to handle all of my gaming no problem!!
