My computer is not letting me install flash player...?

I cannot successfully install it. I can download it, but when I look for that video on the page to play that tells you it has downloaded it doesn't. And when I try something with flash it will not work. For some reason Adobe Flash Player is not sticking when downloaded. Any help would be appreciated.
