...ebay and activate that one? okay i dropped my phone in water yesterday and i tried soaking it in rice and everything and it still doesn't work but i was wondering if i would buy a cheap one off of ebay could i just call alltel to activate the new one? thank you!!!
 
Yes, you can. As long as you get the AllTel version of the Samsung Doubletake, you can buy a used one and activate it with them.

Yeah but it has to be an Alltel prepay model phone. I have Verizon, so I don't know if they will charge you to activate another phone . I can activate a new/used phone (one that was originally bought from Verizon & was a prepay) or change my number for free.
