my CD burner don't work, i use windows media player burner.?

ok, so when i add all my songs on the play-list and press burn.
it will start and then about half way, it says something and cancels the burn.
then one time i kept doing it and one actually completed 100% but it took awhile and when it was done i but it in 3 different stereo's and it had no sound and only 1 track on there.
i burnt a perfect working CD about a month ago, then i rebooted it and this happend.
soo does anyone know what i could do?
 
this happened with me using philips cd/dvd's when the burning closed half way through so i tried Maxwells and was as happy as can be
