My old, sick cat will NOT eat or drink. I've tried a syringe filled with very soft very moist food, salmon, a bottle full of milk... The vert says she might be going into kidney failure. HELP US, PLEASE.
What has your vet suggested? Milk isn't a good idea, if she does drink it she'll likely get diarrhea and then she'll be even worse off. Whenever my cats are sick and won't eat I heat up some meat baby food (make sure it has no extra flavorings, especially not onion or garlic) for a few seconds in the microwave until it's warm and smelly. They can never resist it, and it helps hydrate them too.
How old is your cat? Do you know why she might be going into kidney failure? If she is old and in really bad shape you may want to consider hospitalization or humane euthanasia...
