My cat isn't drinking anything but he seems to be perfectly healthy?

I have a 7-year-old cat who barely drinks water! I've tried everything from using plastic, glass and metal bowls, adding wet food or milk to it, making it warmer or colder, using pre-boiled water and even bottled water, placing the bowl in various rooms of the house - EVERYTHING! He eats regularly without any problems but it's the water issue that's worrying me, because the weather is starting to heat up because it's Summertime. He doesn't look, act or sound sick at all. He's probably finding water elsewhere but it can't be the bottom of the shower because it gets squeegeed every time so there's nothing for him to drink. I don't want him finding water outside if that's what he's doing because there is a stray cat (or two) around that could be diseased and are drinking from the same thing, and I don't want him to get sick. What do I do now?
