His symptoms are: Initially watery eyes but not as much now, sneezing, coughing, lack of eating and drinking, lots of sleeping/not much movement, his gums and tongue are pale, and his nose bleeds occasionally. There are also some red dots on the inside of his ears, and if you look at them on the outside in the sunlight, you can see splotches.
His breathing sounds a little odd too, but I think that is because his nose is stuffy.
His general behavior has drastically changed becuase of his constant tiredness, he just seems aloof. It doesn't seem like he's cleaning himself.
As far as I know, he's still going to the bathroom okay.
His foot paddies are cold to the touch, even though he is near our wood stove.
He's keeping to himself in the basement - away from everybody.
He's been like this for less than a week, but he seems to be getting progressively worse.
My mother and I took him to an animal clinic about three days ago, and the guy gave us antibiotics for him and said he should be perking up in a few days.
My cat is a little over a year old.
My mother thinks it might be lung cancer or something of the like. I don't think so. She thinks this because our dog died of lung cancer five years ago, and because of the Radon levels in our house.
Call it being a paranoid mother (He's like my baby, haha), but I don't have a good feeling about this.
