My cat and dog got into a fight and theres an unexplained smell....?

My cat and go were in a fight my dog bit my cat and right after I got him outside I immediately looked for my cat as I was looking I smelled a really bad smell. IM not sure what this smell was (it wasnt pee or poop).... When I found my cat she had the same smell..... She's very scared and angry... What Im wondering is If cats when their really upset if they produce a really bad smell?? Thanks
