...replaced and then checked? I had it taken to the shop about 3 weeks ago and they replaced the thermostat. It ran great until about 5 days later then the temp needle did it again, but when I checked under the hood all seemed better than the first time I.E. no coolant spraying out of thermostat. Took it back to the same shop full of people I know personally and they said they ran every test they could, opened everything, etc. but found nothing wrong with it. No leaks, no cracks, nothing needed to be replaced, nothing. The head mechanic was stumped and said all he could say was that it was most likely a glitch. Well after that it ran good for about 5 days and now it's doing it again, but nothing is overheating and everything else seems normal.
