Ok so I drive a 98 V6 Stang. This morning, my mom told me to go to the store. I drove there and came back. I was driving regularly, nothing out of the ordinary. A couple of hours later, I had to move my car which was parked behind my moms truck. I put the key in the ignition, turn it, and the starter starts to crack. I've heard this before when the battery was dead but it hasn't happened in a while. So I turned the key again, but this time I only heard 1 crack, and then nothing. I turn the key a third time and no cracks from the starter. Nothing at all. I used jumper cables but the car was the same, no cracks or anything at all. I tested to see if any current was going through my car battery. I placed the two ends of the jumper cables together but one if any sparks came out. Very little power. Any ideas?
