I was driving home from work, noticed that the battery light was on and the car started to jerk a little until it turned off completely. It will take a jump and as soon as I start to drive it does the same thing. I got a new battery (because I was told the old one was crap) and it turned on no problem. I went to a friends place for a while and when I went on my way home the same thing happened on the highway. Could this be the alternator or starter? I noticed that while with the tow truck driver the hazard lights were getting weaker as we grew closer to my house. any help is appreciated. thank you.
my car will not start without a jump. can anyone help?
