My car was reposed a year ago?

The repo will stay on your credit report for 7 or more years.

Them selling your car for more than you owed doesn't mean a thing when it comes to removing it from your report.
 
You can't do anything as this is normal procedure for "bad credit" & will remain on your credit report for 7 years. This is the same procedure for you & all who have difficulty with finances and it all goes 'bad'.
The good news is you will have this removed from your record after the 7 years is up & you're listed as clean and can then go get credit again. But 7 years is standard so not much to do now but fix up your finances & wait it out.
Try not to worry too much about this; it's very common in today's economic condition.
 
My car was repoed a year ago and sold at auction for more than I owed but this is still on my credit report and they wont take it off what can I do
