My car subwoofers stopped beating...?

First of all, my setup is two 12 rockerfost p3s and a memphis 16 mcd 1000 amp. I was driving home yesterday with my music beating normally until I started smelling a burned smell so I turned down the volume and turned it back up and my beats had stopped knocking. Now I'm stuck wondering what went wrong. Did my subwoofer blew our or did my amp did or did the wires just get loose? My fuse in the front did not blow but, Im wondering if my amp fuses blew but I have no clue where they are on my amp. Thanks
