My car stereo system doesnt sound right.?

I have an 02 mustang. I hooked up a 1200 watt boss amp and 2 12" 800 watt pyle subwoofers. I hooked them up to my stock radio and theres barley any bass coming from the subwoofers. When I turn the key back (so the cars not started) it works but theres barley any bass. But when i start the car the subwoofers kind of buzz. Im not sure whats going on.
 
could be a few things your line converter for rca could be hooked up wrong.. not drawing enough voltage...could have bad ground or power and converter in the same line to the amp "cross talk" could be many factors
