I replaced the raditor last month. the day it overheated i had put coolant in it. is it possible it overheated because the cap was not tight?
It did not overheat for over a month, than i checked the fluid, and it was a little low (this was friday) i added some and drove for about 15 miles that's when it overheated again, and wont start. it was steaming out of the overflow tank, and i could not tell if it was steaming from the Radiator or front of the engine. this is why i think the cause was from a loose cap. but i dont know what kind of damage i may have done. could it be the computer?
cap was replaced. not the thermostat, hoses or belts
