Ok first when the car is cold, there is a ticking noise.. sounds similar to a timing chain tick: either loose or tensioner needs replacement?
Second, once warmed up there is a whining that is not consistent also the engine sounds like its boggy but not a serious bog (the rpm at idle is consistent).. the way the bog is I look under the hood and see the motor move just a little and you can hear it kinda boggy through the excaust almost like it has a CAM in it... idk it is running smooth for the most part just weird noises going on.. ugh.. whats up with the kinda boggy coughy engine...
1994 Saturn SL SOHC.. lol sorry i was typing fast i didn't mean to say it doesn't have a cam.. lmao.. anyway yea i think I got 10w30 oil because of it getting hotter out and it being an older car... but i might switch back.. uhhm I have a video of the ticking noise here .. kinda like a pitter patter noise.

and oil is new, filter is new, air filter changed, map sensor changed, i think thats about it
