my car makes clicking noise, 2004 mazda 6s hatchback?

my car recently makes clicking noise after i start my car, i heard it one day when i left it idle. before that day i left the car idle on park for 30 minutes , did this cause the clicking sound?? and do you guys think its the belt, the sound seems like it comes from the belt area..
