I have a 1999 Buick Regal. Recently, it's been doing something very weird: it jerks when it accelerates. On some days it works just fine. On other days, it'll work fine when I am going to work, but on the way back it has the same problem.
The think is, when I apply brakes, it stops smoothly. But when I accelerate, it feels like every time the car is going up a gear it jerks (repeatedly), and then it'll stop, and then it'll jerk again when I accelerate.
Please help - I checked the engine oil, transmission fluid (transaxle), tire pressure - everything is fine.
