I believe the car is front wheel drive, I'm not sure, but it's a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero and a couple days ago it started making this grinding noise when I hit the brakes. It also does it when I don't hit the brakes, sometimes it does it when I just let off the brakes a little bit or if I turn the steering wheel a certain way. It's really loud when I first start the car and when I pull out of my driveway. And I just had my brakes fixed about a month ago, so I don't know what this could be. Could something be stuck in the brakes or brake pads? And is it safe to drive?
