...the problem be? I have a 1991 Mercury Sable (well kept) and recently I noticed a strange gargling/choking sound coming from the muffler most of the time while stopped at a red light, however it doesn't do it EVERY time. However, it drives just as smooth as before and no check engine lights are coming on. Any ideas? Thanks.
