not easy to answer,,,presume u are stateside so not sure what products you have over there,,
also depends how deep the scratches are,if superficial you can in the uk u can buy a product called T cut,,this is a very mild abrasive which removes tar and other marks by removing the local paint work until the marks have gone(sounds bad but isnt)then polish and marks have gone,just polish,,if its deep scratches you have to use the appropriate aerosol spray paint ,use masking tape ,tape off the area(try a non windy day as paint will blow everywhere){if near a window cover them with newspaper)mark off the area and spray,then use a rubbing compound to level off the paint and then you lacquer and polish or just use polish
