I drive a 2001 Chevy Impala and for the past month, my interior lights are confused. During the day, the interior lights are bright and during the night they are really dim (light sensored). Well last night while driving on the highway going about 70 my car completly shut down. It was all I could do to keep the steering wheel straight and push really hard on the breaks to slow down and merge off the road. After that happened, I was able to turn the ignition off and re-start the car, which started right up. All the dash lights were out and the lights around the gear shifter. Please help me figure out what is wrong this car, or has anyone experienced this before?
