Well, I was finally driving it again, had insurance, my license, tags, everything I FUCKING needed.

My sister and her husband were going to buy a new car, selling their current car first. I was driving down there with them to sell thier old car, then drive them to get their new car.

I was a red light, turned on the heater, and the car stopped running. Just stopped. We tried jumping it, everything.

No sparks from the battery at all. My brother in law said the batter was fine, but the alternator might be fucked.

I lost my job about three weeks ago, have had NO money at all. I got a new job that I start on Monday (TOMORROW). The bus won't get me there in time. I was going to start driving my car to work on Monday.

I AM TOTALLY FUCKED. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. :cry:

I don't know what to do. Life is a filthy, dirty fucking whore.
 
Unfortunately, it's a brand new job. Tomorrow would be my FIRST day. It's made clear that it's an automatic termination should anyone be late or not show up. It took me THREE WEEKS and being without food for two of them, to find this fucking job! Sob!

Not at all. Everyone the orientation (it's a HUGE company) was told that being late or not showing up for the first three weeks of training, it an automatic termination.
 
It doesn't hurt to TRY calling your boss and explaining the situation... The earlier the better. You're just accepting defeat before you even try. Stop crying. Get your car to a mechanic as soon as possible. Get a friend to drive you to work tomorrow. The car issue may be a really small thing, and you may be able to have it working again in a day or two.
 
I have no fucking money.

I could probably get a ride to work in the morning, but I have no bus money to get back. If I found some and got back home, wtf will I do on Tuesday? That friend goes back to his hometown tomorrow night.

I try NOT to make friends anymore because I always end up getting fucked. I have some best friends, but I moved away from them when I moved to this city.

I absolutely will call my boss(es) in the morning. I should be doing that ANYWAY, as a common courtesy. I will explain to her what happened and ask if there is ANY way that I can still keep the job.

Considering what they said during orientation Friday, I know what the answer will be.

I am fucked right now and I don't think I'm being irrational. Yeah, yeah, everything will work out, it always does. :rolleyes:
