I drove my car for 2 weeks with 1.5 quarts too much oil in it. Then it just shut down on me on the highway, then i found out about the oil.... I have a repair manual and am doing ALL the work MYSELF, because thats all i can afford to do. I dont have ANY previous mechanical exp. but so far I've successfully replaced the following:
Sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, intake filter, oil filter, and fuel filter. I drained the oil to it's appropiate level, and I used 4/5 of a can of Sea-Foam with 91 octane fuel and put the other 1/5 in the crank case after the repairs... No check anything lights EVER appeared on the dash, but I ran an OBD 1 just to chek, and it came back clear and they all light up and go away as appropiate and.... well, the car Starts perfect, but when I tried to accelerate 5 mins later, after it warmed up, it spuddered, bucked, stalled again, and still no 'check anything' lights to point me n the right direction...? Some white smoke came out of the muffler, and the engine smelt of burnt oil after, but it starts perfect, ran like new for a little... I need some good advice, the least expensive parts first if you could. that way i can work my way up as needed... Thank you so much for you time and patience...

I recently tried to show a buddy and it JUST WOULDN"T STALL?! This was 10 to 15 minutes of gunning it and doin up to 70, with No Problem, but after he left and I tried to go somewhere 2 hours later it spuddered and stalled 3 minutes from home...? I don't get it....
