...a squad leader and i....? was a f@ckup. he retired as a Master Guns and i got out on a medical. we make almost the same amount of money a month. which of us was most successful?
what is the difference between a sh!tbird and a dirtbag?

If you measure a man's worth.....a man's "success" by how much money he has......guess you both lose out to Al Capone..... and Mother Teresa is a real loser

You go ahead and think of yourself as a success.....whatever makes your day a little easier

You both are, you weren't that great in the Marines, and he was. But when you got out due to Medical reason's, which are beyond your control (i hope), then what were you supposed to do? You excelled in the civilian world while he excelled as a Marine. Neither is better.

I'll have to agree with the folks above - you were both successful - as long as you didn't do something stupid to be "awarded" a medical discharge.

And the difference between a sh!tbird and a dirtbag is that a dirtbag has uses - you can pile them on top of each other to provide cover.

A sh!tbird has no uses at all... ergo, the term refers to someone that is worse than a dirtbag. The bird would also be below the ranking of a wet fart (artistic value) and whalesh!t (food for plankton).

why does it matter who was more successfull, you both had the guts to serve, thats that
neither is more successfull
