My brother in law is returning from Iraq this spring what to bring to base?

So I am wondering what type of signs and stuff should my husband and I bring to the base? We are going to be there when the ship sails up. Is it appropriate to bring signs and stuff? Also I will be 16-17 weeks pregnant what is appropriate to wear? Any cute ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
EDIT: i meant cute ideas for his welcoming back not my outfit! I see where its confusing sorry!

Don't go overboard, making a twenty foot banner. There are the groups of spouses that will take care of those large objects. A normal poster is good and maybe a small keepsake, i.e. watch, necklace, cuff links, etc.

Remember, this is about your brother-in-law, not you wanting to dress cute.

"welcome home Heroes" sign. Nothing really that you can bring. Just the signs and a heroes welcome.. Wear something that will reveal the newcomer.. take him somewhere far far from base, maybe the beach, disney world, disney land.. depends, because every person takes some time to get back to normal. see what he is up to doing... ok, fresh baked cookies doesn't hurt....
