Need a better description than "funny noise"

Apart from changing the oil, unless he is a qualified mechanic, he should not even think about working on the 848
 
might sound crazy but i would check and see if it has enough air pressure in it .. low tire will howl like a four wheel drive does . some tread designs howl too ..
 
noisy rear tyre.? Im looking for help with my brother in laws DUCATI 848 2008 , he said the rear tyre seems to be making funny noise above 50 mph, if anyone has knowledge on the DUCATI 848 2008 it would be great, or even a good / chep DUCATI 848 2008 service manual may come in handy.
