my brother in law has been kicked out of the house he was lodging at , he was 2 weeks behind with the rent , and came home one day and was locked, he has tried to pay the bloke ,but the landlord goes out of his way to avoid him , and refuses to give him his clothes or his mail. there is no tenancy agreement , so how does he stand legally, all he wants is his belongings and his mail.he has been trying to sort this out for 3 weeks now .
