Not my fault

...the value of the car? I stopped on a red light when a lady with a baby was crossing the street. The truck behind me smashed the back of my new car. The driver admitted he wasn't looking and that it is 100% his fault. This happened in Massachusetts.
I assume that the insurance will pay to get the card fixed BUT can I get some compensation for the decrease in the value of the car? I mean, if I try to sell the car, it will be extremely difficult since it was involved in an accident. On top of it, I will never get the same money as I would get if the car wasn't crashed.
Any chance to get compensated for a time loss? I am self-employed and I lost at least 2 days worth of work by dealing with this accident.
Thank you kindly for all your answers.
Thank you for your quick answer. I am just about to submit all the paper work and I want to avoid any possible mistakes. What do I need to do to get the diminished value adjustment? I would prefer not to get a lawyer - my car is a Honda Civic so we're not talking tens of thousand but probably a couple of thousand. Thank you very much. I appreciate your help.
