the country- what should he do? My boyfriend's roommate has used his car before, and about two weeks before we left for our trip to Mexico, she had a minor accident. He was very nice about it and she wanted to take it to get an estimate while we were gone, but he said to wait until we got back. His insurance expired just before we left and the new card had arrived when we got back, but it wasn't valid while we were gone. He left the key on his dresser under an envelope in his room with the door closed while we were gone, and just for safety, he reset the trip odometer right when we left. When we got back yesterday, we got in the car to drive me home and when he started it, it was blasting music that he doesn't listen to and the odometer was at 16 miles. We are completely baffled that she would do that and he doesn't really know how to handle the situation. He's very calm about everything but this made him furious. She wasn't there when we got back, so he had time to cool off, but I'm curious about how other people would see the situation. What should he do?
