This is a long story but my boyfriend and I are both 30. My boyfriend's Dad set us up because he was really shy and never had a serious girlfriend. My boyfriend and I both dated a while and then decided to become more serious.We both picked out a house together with the intent of marriage. We were planning on saving until we had enough to plan a wedding. This past year has been extremely difficult to say the least. My boyfriend is a great guy and treats me well but I have had to endure quite a bit of drama from his family. Mainly his Mom who is 50 and single. It first started out where she would ignore me and put me down and it finally hurt my feelings so bad I just didn't want to be around her anymore. I was always polite to her and offered her any help but she was always mean. Things escalated when she threw a party for her daughter and invited a girl and took photos with my boyfriend and her and begged his best friend to post the pictures on my facebook page to cause us to fight and break up. My boyfriends friend said no and I asked to see the photos. The photos were nothing bad just the Mom trying to stir up problems. I just ignored it but then things escalated even further when a female friend of the family ( I never met her) flew in to town. My boyfriend asked if she could have dinner with us and I said I would plan a dinner the following day. Then my boyfriend's family friend came to our house unannounced at 10 o' clock at night to go get ice cream. He said he was busy. She left and then came back after 11 when I was in bed and stormed in the house and came in to our bedroom and screamed in my face to pack my shit and get the F out. I was frozen in shock and my boyfriend didn't do anything. The woman continued to scream in my face and demanded my boyfriend to choose between me or his family and if he chooses me he can say goodbye to his family. Then a week after that all four of my tires were slashed with a knife. I made a report to the police. Now a week later I am getting threat calls from this woman screaming on my voicemail for me to "get out" and " you hear me". On top of this my boyfriend's Dad who is normal sent me an E-mail telling me his ex wife ( my boyfriend's Mom) is not playing with a full deck and called him to tell him she is trying to get people to come and hurt me. She also told my boyfriend's Dad that she sent the woman over to our house and how she thought it was great. The whole thing is really sick and it is scaring me. Should I report it to the police? Do I have anything to go on? The problem is this woman lives in Hawaii and flew back and we are in California. My boyfriend's Mom lives 5 minutes from us. I am still getting the calls from the woman and my boyfriend thinks she had someone out here come and slash my tires. I have no idea what to do.
