My boyfriends Ford truck clutch fuse keep blowing after a new battery was...

...installed backwards.? my 98 Ford f-150 was acting up so the battery was replaced and hooked up backwards. Not only that, but they tried to start the truck not realizing the battery was hooked up backwards. When you turn the key, the truck behaves as if the clutch was not engaged. That lead me to fuse 21 (CPP Switch), which was blown.

Any suggestions?? Thoughts??? I am also not sure what would/could have been damaged as a result of the improper installation of the battery... ?

There is no fuse for the clutch...
I don't believe you can total hook up a battery backwards with out it shorting out and sparking or blowing up.
