My boyfriend was charged with 2 counts of Mischief?

My boyfriend was charged with 2 counts of Mischief, but the charges are now being withdrawn and he is enrolled in a Community Service program. He has no previous criminal record. Later this month, we are flying out of Canada to LA. Do you think there will be a problem with customs? And what questions do they ask?
