My boyfriend wants to "decorate" my face?

I have been pushing my boyfriend to become more open in our physical relationship. He told me that he has the fantasy to "decorate" my face while we are being intimate. I thought it was kind of gross. How do I tell him no without pushing him back in his shell?
 
ok ya you're right thats gross, i wouldnt appreciate my bf doing that either, um is what i would do is text him (its a lot easier to do than call) and say hey, um not to rain on your parade or anything but i dont think the whole "decorate" my face thing sounds fun to me.
