My boyfriend is looking into joining the army and I'm looking for more

information what that means for us? My boyfriend has just started his first year of college at a military academy. He's aways talked about the possibility of joining the army when he finishes college, but recently he's become much more serious in considering it. We want to get married once he's done with school, and we will get married regardless of whether or not he joins the army because I love him and I support him 100% The thing is that I don't really know all that much about what the army offers to families, and I can't really talk to him about it because our contact is severely limited. I know that they offer on base housing, but I don't understand how that works. And we plan on having at least 2 children, and I don't know if that will effect anything? If he joins after he finishes at school, he will be an officer, and again, I don't know if that effects things? Any information/advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
