My boyfriend gets really mad and sad over the smallest things, like when he gets mad he gets really mad I've only been with him on text when hes really mad but i know he punches things, like the wall and hurts himself when he does. And when he gets sad he gets really sad like depressed and says he doesn't deserve me or to live, and once he told his friend he was thinking about killing himself. He always wants to be alone when he's like this, he stops texting people, and just sits in his closet and thinks or hits stuff. Im scared he will kill himself or hurt himself really bad. I dont know whats wrong with him. Is he bipolar? His moods only last for or few hours somedays longer like half a day. It bugs me because im afraid hell hurt himself, and because he gets mad and sad over the littlest things that i say. When Im mad at him or sad because of something he did, Im afraid to tell him for fear that he will do something to hurt himself. Basically my question is. whats wrong with him? and How should i react and what should i do when hes like this?
Please help me i don't know what to do, i really really like him maybe even love him, and i want to know what to do when hes like this, or how to fix it.
