talked to me now I'm worried!? In late September my boyfriend picked me up and as we were leaving my high school he was driving a bit fast. That day we were also on our way somewhere when he got into a huge incident where he got charged with two misdemeanors and a felony. The felony was dropped because he was sent to a hospital because the cause of the incident was said to be from PTSD.
Well neither him and I knew that he was going to be ticketed for leaving my high school. Two days after he was put into jail and then the hospital I got called into the office to talk with an officer about what happened. As filling out a witness form he told me I didn't have to. I felt a bit cheated out of the situation and still felt really bad but I don't lie and was freaked out. My boyfriend was then charged with Reckless Driving.
I asked if anything further with me would come up with this and the cop told me that if he decided to fight it then I would/could (don't really remember) say I would be called as a witness. Well now my boyfriend is back and he just got a ticket in the mail for the Reckless Driving ticket even though its a couple weeks after it happened. He says that he isn't going to pay it because it was the same day the other incident happened and was due to his PTSD.
He says that he's going to tell the courts that it was due to PTSD and plea not guilty. Do you think that I'm going to have to deal with any of this because he did go to a hospital but it was for different things although it took place on the same day. They were in different counties. I just don't want to get involved. If I would have known this all would have happened I would not have been in that situation.
