Should i be mad? We've been dating/living together for 1 year, best friends for 5 years. I gave him.... not even hints! I said to him days and weeks before the big v day I hope i get flowers 
and awww valentines day cupcakes, that would be so sweet to get!
Then valentines day came. It was stressful, a morning at DSS(for him-he lost his job) then I took us out to dinner, paid for it all. and gave him a mix cd of songs that remind me of him- i didnt have money to spend on a gift, my card was the CD case lol. I DIDNT get anything
I told him today that it was mean that he didnt get me anything or even make me a card, i understood he had to save his money to pay off his court fees which were due today, but he did keep $100 for himself. He responded by telling me he had no money on valentines day(besides the money for his cell phone and court fees) and he wasnt as creative as me.
Should i just blow it off? Or see it as disrespectful since he really does know how much i love valentines day and he didn't even try to make anything special.
he's always borrowing money from his friends to pay his phone bill, tickets, cigarettes, ect. Errrr he couldn't have borrowed a dollar for a card? backrub? something???
