give us some feedback?
We are planning to move sometime in September. We originally wanted to move to Manhattan but both places seem like they would be great for what we are interested in. My boyfriend has a recording studio and I am into Fashion and event planning. We want to see the positives and negatives of both. Thanks so much!! I appreciate any answers!

New York and Los Angeles are both very expensive cities! New York plus' it is a great city for up and coming fashion designers and even record labels. A lot of people travel to NYC for such things. The weather is nice probably 6-7 months out of the year but the city itself is wonderful to visit. I myself would never make it there. Too Busy and way to expensive. Los Angeles never been but the weather is wonderful I hear. Fashion is good, I suppose since it is a large well known city. Record labels I think would make it there. All around if I were to choose a city it would be Los Angeles even though I never been there but I have been to Vegas and I love the weather out west. I live in Buffalo, NY and we expect snow 8 months out of the year lol!

If you look sunny skies and running into celebrities.. LA,, if you like 4 seasons and fast paced life.. NY

NY by a long shot. By the choices it seems as if you're looking to break into a career in entertainment. NY offers so many venues for this. LA is where you move after you've made it. NY is where you get your start. Visit both and get a feel for the area. Besides, you can't beat a slice of NY style pizza

I have never been to LA so I cannot tell you first hand about it. I have heard stories from people who have lived there, and they have seemed happy about it. LA and NYC are both good for what you both want to pursue as a career. I live in NYC and honestly it is very expensive to live here. So depending on your financial situation you might want to research the price of where you want to live first. If you can afford it then NYC has a lot of opportunities. You will have to deal the the fast paced life, whereas LA is more laid back.
