...on a clothing optional beach...? Hi, I'm 24, very trim with a pretty nice figure. My boyfriend (of three years) and I went to France for part of our vacation. We met up with four other couples (from work and school) that were also traveling in Europe. We all spent four days enjoying the surf and sun. The second day we were there we went to a clothing optional beach and on a dare I was the first to take off my cloths and walk the beach. The next two days we went back to the same beach and all of the girls went nude. When we were leaving my B/F tells me how disappointed he was that I would "show off my body" that way. He thinks that it should have been his decision to let me "expose" myself to the world...especially his two best friends. I'm really pissed and ready to break up with him. Am I wrong? Should I let him have "veto" power over my decisions?

I don't think that you need his permission but it might have been nice for you to consider how your decision would make him feel.

I could understand his preference for his close friends to not see you naked. It would have been nice for you to talk to him about it first.

His friends might interpret this as an opportunity to try to have sexual contact with you... or just to make comments to your boyfriend.

I would have been upset if I was in his place.

so cool .. hes gonna have so much fun at work listening to his friends descriptions of you.. dont think you'd even think of goin nude infront of them if you knew what they would say.. but on the other hand u might've just done it to show off so you're one of those that need more than wat their bfs think or say.. you shouldnt let him have power but hes got a right to an opinion..
