Ive been working at my employer for about four months. I sit right outside my bosses office. My boss is very nice BUT.... (with his door open) he talks extremely loud and has personal, non work related conversations for hours everyday (with hourly techs and on the phone), whistles to every song on the radio (and hes not a good whistler) and turns up the station really loud when he really likes a song. His girlfriend calls him on his cell and he does what I would call "baby talk" to her in a high pitched voice that is like nails on a chalkboard. I understand he's my boss and there are certain things that Im not allowed to say. However, this is really affecting my productivity and the work environment is hardly conducive with any focus. I was told in my review BY HIM last week that I need to focus more at my desk and quickly follow through with a project. However, I have to walk away from my desk when my blood starts to boil so I don't say anything stupid. I go home every night with a pounding headache from him. Headphones are not really an option at my desk, what do I do or say?? I need this job.
