My blackberry curve got a tiny bit wet, the damage indicator is red?!?

I was taking a shower with my blackberry on the counter playing music. It did not get fully wet, so I'm assuming that it got wet by the moisture in the air. At first the back button was typing "hlhlhl" and the top row of buttons wasn't working correctly. I took out the battery, blow-dried the phone with a blow dryer on cold, and placed the phone in rice for about 30 minutes.

The water damage indicator is white with red X's across it, but when i placed the battery in and turned my phone on, all was normal and it worked perfectly.

What should I do? I don't want to keep the battery in if it will damage my phone at all.

did u get ur bb to work finally? mine got wet from sweat and i tried rice and dryer but nothing yet. how long till i can try battery again?
