my blackberry bold does not turn on?

yesterday when i was going to charge my device i plugged in the charger to my device and right when i did that, it just turned off and it hasn't turned on since, do i need to replace it or can i fix it with out taking it anywhere? than you

Sometimes there are just glitches. Take out the battery and then be sure and replace so the connectors touch again and this is like a hard boot. Like killing its little brain. See if that reboots it.
