it looks just like many other pregnant molly fish that i saw on google images. Is it possible is got pregnant by another type of fish?

what do i do now that its pregnant?

Mollies are livebearers and are pregnant most of the time. So it is possible that you bought your black molly from the store already pregnant. If she is, i would seperate her from the other fish and put her in a breeder or in another aquarium. And keep an eye on her, when you fry are born, you will need to seperate them from the mother or else theyll get eaten. Good Luck!

OH! and feed her good, bloodworms and brine shrimp would be a good idea!

What other fish do you have? If you have any other type of Molly (color doesn't matter) or even Guppies, they can breed. If you haven't had her for more than 2 months, the chances she is going to give birth very soon is high.

It's possible your Molly is pregnant, but if you have had it for more than 2 months and it suddenly go bloated, I would suspect something not so great.

Check the body of the Molly for raised scales. If it has any then it's probably Dropsy which is usually caused by poor water quality. You will need to immediately quarantine her.

Many times , live bearers such as your black molly are bought from pet stores already pregnant. They can store packets of sperm long after they have first been inseminated so they do not need to be near a male for quite a while, yet can still become pregnant.

I would keep an eye on here, looking for behavior like staying in a secluded corner of the aquarium, and eating aggressively or not eating at all. Keep in my that the fish may eat her fry (Babies) if given the chance, so keeping floating plants is recommend. Any More questions can be asked at the link in my sources.
