My biology teacher just taught me the controversy over Evolution?

After teaching me all about evolution, he sighed and said 'However, some people question the validity of evolution for a number of reasons. All these people are highly religious, close-minded, arrogant, unqualified and most importantly, wrong.'

Is that what people mean when they want schools to 'teach the controversy'? Seems about right to me.
