The other day I locked my bike to a pole using a geniune bike lock, and when I returned to it a couple of hours later I found that someone else had put a lock on the bike. In attempt to get my bike back properly I took off the wheel that was locked to the pole and took the chassis of the bike, a police officer caught me doing this, and accused me of stealing the bike. What am I able to argue to keep my bike? I dont have a receipt for the bike, or the lock; the person who 'stole' my bike is who im against in court, what proof do I have that the bike is mine?
