My bicycle is making some kind of clunk sound with a jerky motion when I go up an incline or try to accelerate. The jerk is faint, but it happens when I start to peddle downward from the top. The bike shop never seem to give me a straight answer.
I noticed that it tend to happen when after it get rain on, but they keep saying that rain should not do any serious damage except accelerate the rusting process.
The bike is a commuter Trek bike and still new. I recently took it for a tune up and it got rain on one night. I don't want to spend more money again. Can anyone identify it so I can try to figure it out myself?
